Who we are

Rubsta Open 2026 is organised by Rubsta, the sole proprietorship of Gurvirkaur Toor ("we", "us"), at 206, D Wing, Kailash Industrial Estate, Vikhroli West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400076, India. Entries are taken through this website, www.rubstaopen.com, which runs on Tournament OS by ForgeLabs.

These terms apply when you create an account, enter an event, or pay an entry fee. By entering you accept them.

The tournament

PRIZE MONEY

₹1,38,000 across five categories: Open singles ₹60,000, Open doubles ₹24,000, U-15 juniors ₹24,000, 40+ singles ₹16,000 and Women’s 30+ ₹14,000. Prize money in every prize-paying category except Open singles depends on a full draw. 40+ doubles has no prize money.

We may change the dates, venue, schedule, draw format or category list when weather, court availability or entry numbers require it. We will publish any change on this website.

Eligibility

• You must meet the age and category criteria for each event you enter. We may ask for photo ID or proof of age before play.
• Each player may enter a category once. Doubles is entered as a team and one registration covers both players.
• Entries from players under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian.
• We may decline or withdraw an entry where the criteria are not met, or where the draw is full.

Doubles works out at ₹2,000 per player. Fees are in Indian Rupees and include all applicable taxes. The fee shown at checkout is the amount you pay.

Entering and paying

An entry is confirmed only when payment succeeds. Until then it stays unpaid and the place is not held. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials; we keep only the payment reference, the amount and the status.

If a payment fails you can retry from your entry page. If you are charged without the entry being marked paid, contact us with the payment reference and we will reconcile it.

Withdrawals and refunds

Withdrawals, cancellations and refunds are covered by our refunds and cancellations policy.

Playing in the tournament

• Match rules, scoring format and the code of conduct issued by the organiser apply to every event.
• Report 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. A player who is not on court and ready to play 15 minutes after the scheduled time loses the match by walkover. This is applied strictly, with no exceptions.
• Markers and coaches are not allowed.
• Misbehaviour or rude conduct by any person at the tournament leads to disqualification, with no refund of the entry fee. That decision rests solely with the organiser and the Rubsta team.
• Every final decision on scoring, conduct, scheduling and the running of the tournament rests with the organiser and the Rubsta team, and is not open to dispute. This keeps play fair and the tournament running to time.
• You play at your own risk. Arrange your own medical and travel insurance. We are not liable for injury, illness, or loss or damage to personal property at the venue, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that liability.

Photography and results

We publish draws, order of play, live scores, results and player cards on this website during and after the tournament. This includes your name, category, player ID and match results.

Photographs and video taken at the venue may be used to report on and promote the tournament. Tell us in writing if you do not want your image used and we will honour that request wherever we control the image.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure and do not let anyone else enter events using it. Give accurate details; we may correct or remove an entry based on information that turns out to be wrong.

We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the platform, to disrupt other players, or to break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes that affect entries already paid for will be announced on this website before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
