Who controls your data

What we collect

When you sign in

We use Google sign-in. Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture. We never see your Google password.

When you create a player profile

• Full name, date of birth and gender — used to place you in the right category and to verify eligibility.
• Mobile number — used to reach you about scheduling and your entry.
• Club, best ranking, previous tournaments and playing hand — optional, shown on your player card and used for seeding.
• A player ID number we assign, in the form FL-2026-0117.

When you enter and pay

• The categories you enter and the status of each entry.
• The Razorpay order reference, payment reference, amount, currency and payment status.

Card numbers, UPI IDs and bank credentials go straight to Razorpay. They never reach our servers and we cannot see them.

During the tournament

Match results, draw positions, scores, and any messages, reactions or score predictions you post in the fan features.

Why we use it

• To run your entry: confirm payment, seed the draw, schedule matches and publish results.
• To contact you about the event you entered.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations, including payment records.
• To keep the platform secure and to investigate misuse.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

What we publish

Draws, order of play, live scores, results and player cards are public pages. They show your name, player ID, category, club if you gave one, and your match results. Your date of birth, email address, mobile number and payment details are never published.

Who else handles it

GOOGLE

Sign-in, and cloud hosting for the website and database, in the Mumbai region (asia-south1).

RAZORPAY

Payment processing. Razorpay handles your payment credentials under its own privacy policy.

We share data with these providers only so far as they need it to do that work. We disclose personal data to anyone else only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Profile and entry records stay while your account is open. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require. Published results stay in the tournament archive. Ask us to close your account and we will delete your profile and contact details, keeping only what those rules oblige us to hold.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The database sits on a private disk on a server that accepts no direct public connections, and administrative access needs a signed-in account holding an admin role.

No system is perfect. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.

Your choices

• See, correct or update your profile at any time from your account.
• Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal details.
• Ask us to stop using your photograph in promotion.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in form. They are cleared when you sign out. The public landing page sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Children

The U-15 event is open to players under 18. A parent or guardian must create the account and give consent. We collect no more data about a junior player than about any other entrant.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
